Western SnowEx Part #48985 – Gland Nut Assembly 1-1/2 is for all the Newer Western, Fisher, SnowEx, and Blizzard 1.5″ Angling Cylinders. This is the O ring style. It does not go on any cylinders that use the leather packing. They started using these in the early 2000’s. This is used on the V plow and straight blades on the lift cylinders and angling cylinders. The gland nut comes with the seals in it. This is a replacement for the older #s 56555 and 56579. This is the same for SnowEx plows. Many plows including the SpeedWing, Power Plow, Heavy Duty Plow, HDV V Plow. Regular Duty Plow and more all use part # 48985.
