SaltDogg tailgate spreaders are built to last. Made of durable orange powder-coated carbon steel, it features an anti-flow plate and 1/4 in. endplates. An extended endplate model is also available. A three-point hinged bottom cover allows easy access to the entire auger assembly and hassle-free cleaning. The spreader is equipped with a 6 in. auger with 3/8 in. flighting and comes with an auger screen and a hydraulic safety lockout system.

This spreader gets the job done. It runs a direct-coupled hydraulic drive system for both the auger and the spinner that uses low speed, high-torque orbital motors. The 18 in. poly spinner can cast material up to 40 ft. The spreader is available with center or left discharge.
