Description

SnowDogg Part # 16071100 – Universal Headlight Adapter Kit H13, 9008. This is used on vehicles with H13 bulbs such as the Ford 2004-Up, Dodge 2006-Up, GM 2007-Up and more. As always, check your vehicles bulb types to ensure they are indeed H13 bulbs before purchasing. 

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Disconnect both PS and DS side truck headlights from the truck harness.

2. Connect the 16071100 adapters to the OEM headlight connectors and truck harness connectors.

3. Connect the 16071100 adapters to the universal light harness connectors included with the snowplow. This is part of the harness with the relay module.

4. Use an included Tap connector to tap the BROWN wire into your PARK light circuit on both the PS and DS circuits.

5. Use an included Tap connector to tap the PURPLE or ORANGE wire into the TURN light circuit on both the PS and DS circuits.

6. Check all light functionality before operating the plow.

NOTE: 2008 Ford SuperDuty trucks built before April 18, 2007 were originally shipped with a miscalibrated Smart Junction Box that would malfunction when switching to plow lights.

• On 04/23/07, customers may have their Ford dealer reprogram the Smart Junction Box (SJB) with a new calibration using Technical Service Bulletin TSB 07-09-01. After reprogramming no other operator intervention is required. New vehicles from KTP with “Snowplow Prep Package Option” (Order Code 473), or “Snowplow/Camper Prep Option”, and with a build date of 4/18/07 or later, already have this new calibration included.

NOTE:

• Relay-driven functions such as the Ford high-beams or park-lamps are not monitored by SJB control strategy. Therefore, if required prior to applying the TSB, the snowplow can still be used because the SJB will not affect snowplow headlamp operations with the Ford headlamp switch in either the “OFF” position, or “ON” in parklamp position, or “ON” with high-beams activated.
