Bueler 40/60A automotive type relay with sealed connections for outdoor use. We have tested many relays and these are the best. Common use for these relays is when you need to use one of our wireless systems to provide higher amperage than our unit can put out, use the relay as a switching device to handle all of your higher amperage needs. Also used in All Boss snow plows, Western Uni-mount, older Fishers, Meyers and many more.
40/60A Sealed Relay DC
The Beuler 5083W 12V, 40A/60A relay is the most popular relay in automotive sound and security installations. It easily switches 40 amps of current and peaks of 60 amps with minimal draw on the coil of 147 milliamps @ 12Vdc. It features no mounting tab with plastic housing making it very easy to fit behind dashboards or kick panels. The built in negative spike protection make the relay perfect for use with sensitive electronics such as FET’s or transistors that could be potentially damaged for voltage spikes. Single Pole, Dual throw for flexible installations and multiple uses.
