Boss HTX V-Plow – NEW PRODUCT ALERT

2016 will be a huge year for Boss. First the EXT, now the Boss HTX V-Plow.  Hot off the heals from the success of the HTX straight blade, Boss has created the perfect way for 1/2 ton and light duty vehicles to enjoy a v-plow.

Snowplowsplus was lucky enough to take an early look at the HTX V-Plow from Boss at NTEA 2016 in Indianapolis, Indiana and we were quite impressed.  The first thing you notice with the HTX V-plow is the overal durability and strength it appears to have.  It “looks” well put together. Comparing to other 7’6″ v-plows on the market today, the HTX v-plow is a more professional plow than others we’ve seen at the show.

• Designed for half-ton and lighter duty vehicles. Weighs hundreds of pounds less than some competitive 7’6″ V-plows.
• Equipped standard with SL3 L.E.D. Headlight system with up to 2x the light output compared to traditional halogen lights, 8-10 years of life expectancy and Boss’ exclusive Ice Shield Technology to prevent ice buildup.
• Available in 7’6″ mild steel.
• Features built-in mounting locations for plow shoes and snow deflector.

Overall, we’ve loved our HTX straight blade throughout 2015 and 2016, but after seeing the HTX V-plow, we are thinking about giving it a try this winter.
