Any and all electrical connections that are on your Western Snow Plow or your plow truck should be protected with dielectric grease. Western Snow Plow Dielectric Grease is sold by SnowplowsPlus directly from Western and to your door to help protect against corrosion or damaged pins. Without dielectric grease, water will eventually squeeze it’s way into the connection and cause corrosion quickly, essentially ruining your connection and leaving you no other option but harness replacement. Corrosion from water damage is common when you doin’t keep your connections covered. Be sure to pick up plug weather covers for all of your electrical connections on the Truck Side and Plow side to help eliminate the chance for corroded pins and connectors.
