How to Slow Down the Angle Function on Your Boss Straight Blade

Much like drop speed on a Boss plow, angle speed may be adjusted on Boss straight blade plows by following the below information.

An orifice can be installed beneath the angle valve to reduce the angling speed. If you have a HYD07100 (#8) angle valve, the orifice part # is HYD07068. If you have an HYD07029 (#10) angle valve, the orifice part# is HYD09924. To install the orifice remove the angle valve and install the orifice on the end of the valve (a small amount of grease will help stick the orifice to the valve) see Figure 1.

The orifice should be installed with the taper away from the valve. Reinstall angle valve, be sure not to over torque the coil nut (1/8 turn past finger tight).
