SnowEx is pleased to announce the release of a new thicker carbon steel cutting edge kit for their HDV V plow product family. The new high carbon steel cutting edge kits are 5/8″ thick instead of the normal 3/8″ thick and are specifically designed to form to your SnowEx HDV V plow. The 5/8″ thick kits are designed specifically to fix SnowEx V-Plows and are built on your terms. Each kit comes with 5/8″ thick wing edges, 5/8″ thick center edges, as well as all of the required mounting hardware needed to install your new cutting edge kit to your SnowEx HDV V Plow.

A thicker cutting edge not only increases the overall surface area in contact with the ground which can increase the overall efficiency of each pass, but this increased surface area helps reduce the overall wear on the edge and extends the useful life of your cutting edge. You’ll notice a difference immediately if you’ve only used the normal 3/8″ thick cutting edges, or even a 1/2″ thick cutting edge in the past. Reduce overall labor costs and edge replacement with a less frequent required replacement and a sturdy high carbon steel cutting edge that can withstand what Mother Nature decides to throw your way.
