On top of the main parts that make up the body component of the Ice Breaker spreader, are the hardware replacement parts such as the screws, bolts, washers, nuts, and labels. Make sure when replacing any hardware on your Western Ice Breaker spreader that you only replace according to the official Western Ice Breaker Salter Parts List. For instance, you will only want to use Stainless Steel hardware when called to use it and on specific portions of the salter itself. Western Ice Breaker Body Hardware parts aren’t just limited to nuts, washers, and bolts, but also larger parts such as the actual brackets and hopper components which holds all of your deicing material within the spreader where it’s supposed to be. With missing bolts or parts, water could get into the hopper, and essentially ruin your salt, sand, or deicing material.
