Western Hopper Spreader Pre-Wet and Vibrator Accessory Kits – Compatibility and Mounting Position Update

Please note that some restrictions apply to the Pre-Wet Tank Kit when using both a Pre-Wet Accessory Kit and a Vibrator Accessory Kit in conjunction with either a Western Tornado Spreader or a Western Striker Hopper Spreader.

All Western Striker Spreaders:

• When using a Vibrator Kit, only one of either the 76425 – 50-Gallon Tank Kit (2 x 25-gallon tanks) or the 76450 – 100-Gallon Tank Kit (2 x 50-gallon tanks) can be used. The tank kit must be mounted in the rear (primary) tank location (see Figure 1). The Vibrator Kit must be installed in the forward driver-side location; it will interfere with a second (additional) tank kit or a forward mounted tank kit.
• If additional capacity is required, a third tank can be added on the passenger’s side in the forward (secondary) location by ordering and installing the following components:
  • 76293 – 25-Gallon Tank or 76296 – 50 Gallon Tank
  • 76418 – 25 Gallon Tank Strap Kit or 76419 – 50 Gallon Tank Strap Kit
  • 76421 – J-Bolt Kit
  • 76422 – Add-a-Tank Fitting Kit
  • 76424 – 1″ Hose Kit – 15′

All Western Tornado Spreaders
