For precise ice control performance, turn to the powerfully versatile PRO FLO 525 and PRO FLO 900 Tailgate Spreaders. A 2-stage, auger-fed delivery system and independent variable speed control provide consistent and efficient flow of all types of de-icing materials, including rock salt and salt-sand mix. This unit is not designed for straight sand. Designed to attach to a wide variety of vehicles, it’s versatile enough for any job site or surface condition.
The Western Pro Flo 900 Tailgate Spreader features a 9 cu ft hopper that holds up to 720 lb of bagged or bulk salt or a 50/50 Mix of Salt and Sand. The 12” steel spinner casts a spread pattern of up to 40’ wide.

Each PRO-FLO tailgate spreader is built with a heavy-duty, powder coated, horizontal steel auger for strength and performance.
Western Pro Flo 900 Tailgate Spreader Spinner Assembly
The PRO-FLO 900 features a 12″ steel spinner (shown), and the PRO-FLO 525 features a 10″ spinner made of nylon/glass reinforced resin for a long, low-maintenance life. On both spreaders, the spinner motor is sealed inside a weather-resistant housing, protecting it from corrosion.
